About Tarcisio Ciancio

Art has always been part of my life. At an early age, I loved sketching and drawing. In high school as my fascination grew, I was awarded an art scholarship to Pratt Institute. Upon graduating, I had a successful career in advertising and design. In retirement, my focus turned to fine arts. I enjoy creating landscapes, still lifes, and portraits. I paint in an impressionistic style. Since moving to South Carolina, I have been awed and inspired by the colorful and lush scenes of the low country. Trying to capture nature’s beauty is a magical process that never gets old.
